Italian entrepreneurship excellences have been awarded in Milan on the occasion of the ‘Chi è Chi’ Awards, 2015’

MILAN – In Milan, the young generation of entrepreneurship and creativity award a prize to Italian Excellence at the ‘Chi è Chi’ Awards [Who’s Who] 2015. To present the winners, who were selected amongst brand ambassadors which have distinguished themselves in fashion, design, food, music, cinema, sport, charity and beauty sectors, there was the Assessor of Labour Policy, Economic Development, Fashion and Design, Cristina Tajani. The 2015 competition was organised in collaboration with the Municipality of Milan and with Palazzo Reale [Royal Palace of Milan].

The new talents

The prizes were awarded from 10 young talent, selected by the Municipality of Milan from amongst research projects, young entrepreneurs and business start-ups with a winning business model, or key players on a path of professional growth at national and international level. The young talents are: Orange Fiber srl; LA.TE, Anna Maddalena Ghielmi; MyFoody, Meo Fusciuni and Mariella Bussolati; XMetrics, Federica Fracassi, Wishraiser and Opendot.

The winners

The winners of ‘Chi è Chi’ Awards were: Alessandro Dell’Acqua, designer - Cinema and Film-making; Stefano Accorsi, actor and director, as well as brand ambassador for Peugeot – Beauty; Tomaso Trussardi, CEO of Trussardi Spa – Design; Giulio Cappellini, architect and designer - Sport; Silvia Rizzo, Amazon - Charity; Antonella Camerana, president of Missione Sogni - Luxury Food & Beverages; Stefano Agostini, CEO of San Pellegrino - Made In Italy; Carlo Beretta, CEO of Bottega Veneta – Music and Art, and Alexander Pereira, Superintendent and Artistic Director of La Scala, Milan. The TV presenter, Piero Chiambretti was awarded the Elio Fiorucci special prize by Giuseppe Modenese, honorary president of the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana [National Chamber of Italian Fashion].

The jury

The winners were selected by a jury made up of Benedetta Barzini, lecturer and expert in fashion culture; Gianluca Bauzano, fashion, costume and news editor of the Corriere della Sera’s Sette magazine; Mario Boselli, honorary president of the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana; Cristina Manfredi, Head of Service at Vanity Fair; Simone Marchetti, fashion editor for repubblica.it, d.repubblica.it, La Repubblica, and DLUI Magazine; Cristina Morozzi, journalist and design critic, and director of Design School Education at the Marangoni Institute; Silvia Paoli, journalist contributing to numerous women’s publications and founder and editor of lostinfashion.it; Cristiana Schieppati, director of ‘Who’s Who in Journalism and Fashion’, and Massimiliano Sortino, fashion editor of Vogue.it.
